A meeting of the board of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation in Israel, along with a tour of its Israel beneficiary agencies, will be held for a week opening September 23, it was announced here today by Samuel Rubin, president of the Foundation. It will be the first time that a Foundation board meeting has been held outside of the country.
The board meeting will be opened with major addresses by Moshe Sharett, former Israel Prime Minister and honorary chairman of the Israel board of the Foundation; Abba Eban, Israel Minister of Education and Culture, and Mr. Rubin. Pablo Casals and American Ambassador Walworth Barbour are also expected to address the opening session.
