America needs a Hitler and the American press lauds in streamer headlines Adolf Hitler’s appointment as Chancellor of Germany, was the statement broadcast throughout Germany by K. G. W. Luedecke, representative of the German National Socialist Party in the United States, in the course of a radio program arranged yesterday afternoon at two o’clock over the network of the National Broadcasting company of New York City.
Herr Luedecke’s address was devoted to a description of the impression made in the United States by Hitler’s victory in Germany. America, Luedecke declared, is now fascinated by Hitler.
Previously so-called Germans toured America and misguided the public, but today Hitler is being acclaimed in the press, the Nazi representative declared. The Jews are leaving Germany and already many Americans say that America too needs a Hitler, Luedecke asserted.
