The United States now occupies third place in Palestine imports, it was disclosed today when figures on imports for 1934 were made public.
The figures disclose that Palestine imported goods valued at $75,000,000 during 1934. Of these products totalling $71,000,000 were imported from England. The United States came third with a total import value of $6,500,000.
Germany occupied second place among nations exporting to Palestine during 1934. Machinery and merchandise which Palestine imported from Germany during the year, amounted to $8,500,000.
