The House of Delegates of the American Bar Association, which earlier unanimously approved a resolution calling on the U.S. delegation to the United Nations to delay at least for one year final action on the proposed international covenant on human rights, yesterday unanimously adopted a resolution calling on the United States not to ratify the U.N. convention outlawing genocide.
The action vas taken on a resolution submitted by the Association’s president, Frank E. Holman, of Seattle, which said that the U.N. genocide convention should not be approved by the Senate “until and unless there has been accorded the time and opportunity for adequate public discussion and understanding of the convention.”
