The Jewish Agency executive today learned that a number of Palestine Jews who are held in concentration camps in unoccupied France are receiving regular assistance from the American embassy in Vichy.
Normal travel between Iraq and Palestine was resumed when the first autobus with passengers and goods since the British occupation of Iraq arrived here today. The passengers stated that order has been fully restored and the situation in Iraq is calm. Roads, too, are now cleared, they said.
