The American Fund for Israel Institutions, which helps support 52 institutions in Israel, opened its New York 1952 campaign last night with a dinner at the Waldorf Astoria at which it was announced that the Fund’s income last year was $1,200,000, of which 55 percent was raised in New York. The goal for New York this year is $800,000. The national drive seeks to raise $1,934,000.
