Twelve young Jews, Americans and Israelis, of an average age of 25, opened here tonight the fourth four-day annual “American-Israel Dialogue conducted by the American Jewish Congress.
The participants were chosen as “typical” young intellectuals, the Israelis represent the first generation of Jews who grew up in the State of Israel, the Americans comprise their counterparts from “an atmosphere virtually free of anti-Semitism, offering unlimited opportunities for Jews.” Their topic was “Jewish Consciousness.”
