The National Committee for Labor Palestine today cabled $250,000 to the Histadruth headquarters in Tel Aviv “to enable organized Jewish labor in Palestine to mobilize more forces for defense and to absorb newly arrived immigrants.” The organization hopes to raise another million dollars for the same purposes during the month of January, an announcement said.
