Professor Solomon Zeitlin, professor of ancient history at Dropsie College, Philadelphia, arrived here yesterday for the purpose of examining the Slavonic text of Josephus’ “Jewish Wars,” which is supposed to be translated from Aramaic and to prove that Josephus mentioned Jesus of Nazareth in his original text.
Professor Zeitlin left for Leningrad to take up the study of the manuscript at the Academy of Science.
