American Jews “provided a total of $250,300,000 in the past ten years for the United Palestine Appeal agencies’ immigration and development program,” Rudolf G. Sonneborn declared here today in his first report as U.P.A. national chairman. He said “this sun represents slightly more than half of the expenditures by U.P.A. agencies in Israel which amounted to $445,000,000 in ten years. The difference was made up by loans here, as well as by campaigns in other countries and in Israel itself.”
