The American Palestine Foundation Fund (Keren Hayesod) today sent the first million dollar check in its 25 years of activity to Palestine, according to a statement by Sol Reiter, of Newburgh, N. Y., its acting president. Mr. Reiter announced that this represented a partial payment on the 1945 collections in the United States. The money will be spent for reconstruction work.
