The Third National Assembly of the American Jewish League for Israel is being postponed from the originally scheduled date of December 5, Ezra Z. Shapiro, president, announced today. He stated that in view of the proximity of the Assembly to the Zionist General Council meetings in Jerusalem, it was deemed advisable to postpone the Assembly until after the Jerusalem sessions.
The Zionist General Council meeting in Jerusalem will be of great importance as it will adopt a new constitution for the World Zionist Organization, the first constitutional change in over 50 years.
