The League for Labor Palestine today announced that it has decided to formally enter the ranks of the Zionist Organization following a decision of its annual convention this week that each member of the League must purchase the Zionist Shekel. Delegates from fifteen cities attended the convention which pledged support to the American Jewish Conference.

The convention adopted a resolution supporting the Zionist demand for the establishment of Palestine as a Jewish Commonwealth and sent a telegram to Lord Halifax, British Ambassador in Washington, urging that Britain open the doors of Palestine to Jewish immigration and abandon the White Paper policy.
