Joseph B. Keenan, United States member of the U.N. Conciliation Commission for Palestine, held a conference here this morning with acting Mediator Dr. Ralph J. Bunche. Both officials are expected to leave within a few days for Geneva where the three-member commission is expected to begin its work next week.
The session was described by a spokesman for the U.S. delegation as a “get acquainted” meeting in the course of which Dr. Bunche laid before Keenan his views on the present situation between Israel and the Arab states. While at Lake Success, Keenan also paid his respects to Secretary-General Trygve Lie.
