The Mizrachi Organization of America today announced a plan for the establishment of the first settlement in Israel for middle class religious Jews desiring to leave the United States to settle in the Jewish state.
The plan provides for the settlement of 100 families on a tract of 2,000 dunams of land, with each family investing $5,000. The project will be carried out by the American Mizrachi Organization in cooperation with the Jewish National Fund and the American section of the Jewish Agency.
