A national Council for Hebrew Culture was formed today at a meeting of national Jewish organizations called by the Histadruth Ivrith of America. A temporary committee was named to work out plans for future action.
The delegates approved a resolution hailing the Third World Hebrew Congress which will meet in Jerusalem next August 7. The resolution appealed to national Jewish groups, institutions of higher learning and similar organizations to send delegates to the Jerusalem gathering.
