American Nazi Party Says It Accepts Jewis if They Serve As Spies

The American Nazi Party, obviously embarrassed by the fact that Daniel Burros, who was discovered to be a Jew, was its national secretary, today announced its policy “regarding Jewish persons seeking membership in the Nazi Party.” Burros, committed suicide Sunday in Reading, Pa., after he read a report in the New York Times revealing that while advocating anti-Jewish hatred as Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan in charge of New York State and as a former national secretary of the American Nazi Party, he was hiding the fact that both his parents were Jewish and that he was confirmed as a Jew at his Bar Mitzvah ceremony in a New York synagogue.

The American Nazi Party statement issued today reads” “A Jewish person attempting to join the American Nazi Party must appear before a specially constituted party board upon completing his applicating his application and having it notarized. If such Jewish person is found to be free of any subversive, Communist, or Jewish organizational influences and if such Jewish person is found to be absolutely sincere and totally honest, he is given special training and then sent back to join Jewish and Communist organizations to spy on them for the American Nazi Party. Such a ‘spy’ is not officially accepted for membership until a long probationary period is served and his sincerity is manifested by conduct, service and loyalty.”
