While the American soldiers were visiting the settlement, which is located in Judea, a fire broke out, threatening buildings and crops. With their assistance, however, it was soon extinguished.
The Youth Aliyah organization announced today that 23 Jewish children from the Balkan countries have arrived here from Turkey. They are the fourth small group of young refugees from the Balkans to arrive in recent months.
