More than 1,500 trade unionists from all over the United States paid tribute this week-end to William Green, president of the American Federation of Labor, at a dinner given by the American Trade Union Council for Histadrut at the Hotel Waldorf Astoria. Mr. Green was honored for his aid to the Histadrut, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
