The American Zionist Council has designated the month of November as “Weizmann Month,” during which Zionists throughout the United States will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of Chaim Weizmann, first President of the State of Israel, it was announced here today by Rabbi Irving Miller, chairman of the American Zionist Council.
A special memorial meeting to be held here next Sunday will be addressed by American Zionist leaders, including Louis Lipsky, dean of American Zionists and lifelong friend of Dr. Weizmann; Rabbi Miller, Shlomo Argov, Israel Consul and director of the Israel Office of Information and Mrs. Lola Kramarsky, national president of Hadassah.
