A call to Jewish youth in the United States and Canada to come to Israel was sounded here by Israel’s Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett addressing a conference of the Habonim, a Labor Zionist youth organization which trains young people to settle in the Jewish State.
More than 200 delegates from 25 cities in the U.S. and Canada attended the conference at which it was announced that 30 Habonim members will proceed to Israel in September, 1952, and 80 more will be trained and ready to leave for Israel at the end of 1953.
