The need of having a large and representative American delegation at the World Zionist Congress which will meet in Carlsbad, Czechoslovakia beginning next February 18th, is the substance of a message issued by Robert Szold, Chairman of Administration of the Zionist Organization of America, urging the participation of American Jewry in the forthcoming elections for the Congress.
The national headquarters of the Zionist Organization has designated Sunday, December 14th and Sunday, December 21st as dates on which the various groups associated with the Zionist movement, such as Zionist districts, Hadassah chapters, camps of the Order Sons of Zion, and branches of the Avukah, may concentrate their efforts on the sale of shekels. Each shekel, which may be bought for fifty cents, is a token of membership in the World Zionist Organization, and permits the purchaser to vote for delegates to the Congress.
