There is a greater need now than ever before for Americanization schools because of spreading radical tendencies in many sections of the country, Orin P. Moore, Chief Examiner, United States Bureau of Naturalization, said in an address here last night.
Declaring Bolshevism and Communism” were being advocated in the U.S. “mostly in foreign laguages” Mr. Moore said: “I can say without hesitation that the majority of those taught in the Americanization schools know more about American ideals and fundamental principles of our constitution than does the average American-born adult.”
