More than 500 members of the Farband Syrkin Club, who had settled in Israel, celebrated here last night the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Poalei Zion and the Farband-Labor Zionist Order in the United States.
The event, held at Farband Hamlin House, was presided over by Isaac Hemlin, who called on Labor Zionists in the U.S.A. and Canada to come to Israel and help in the building of the Jewish State “as a beacon of light for Jewish people the world over.”
