A check of $100,000, the first installment of several million dollars to go toward building a “Bible land” on a five-acre plot on the outskirts of Holon, a suburb of Tel Aviv, was presented today to the town’s mayor, Pinhas Eylon, by Emanuel Henigman, of Memphis, Tenn. His colleague in the project, Asfran Wilensky, of Jacksonville, Fla., pledged to raise the rest of the money by 1970.
