AMPAL-American Palestine Trading Company and the Mekorot Water Company have formed a new corporation, Lapidoth, to prospect for oil in Israel, Abraham Dickenstein, president of AMPAL, announced here today just before returning to the United States. Mr. Dickenstein and two other executives of AMPAL toured the Jewish State examining investment prospects.
