An 88-year-old Czech woman was murdered for the $7,000 compensation she received for spending four years in Nazi concentration camps. The woman was beaten around the head with an ashtray and strangled with television cable, before her assailant, in an apparent panic, fled the scene without finding the money stashed under a bed.
