An American journalist who helped more than 1,500 people escape Nazi-occupied France was honored posthumously with a bus shelter in Berlin. The permanent display, including a photo of Varian Fry in Berlin and text in German and English, was designed by Berlin artist Ronnie Golz, whose parents fled Nazi Germany for England.
