An appeal by four Jews against sentences imposed on them in connection with the killing of Ahmed Boushicki, a Moroccan national who was suspected of being a terrorist leader, was rejected last weekend by Norway’s Supreme Court. Three of the appellants, Abraham Gehmer, Sylvia Rafael and Dan Aerbel were given jail terms of five to five-and-a-half years. The fourth appellant. Marianne Gladnikov was sentenced to two-and-a-half years. Defense attorneys for the four asked that the sentences be reduced.
