An Argentine prosecutor is seeking to charge 19 people, 10 of them former police officials, in connection with the 1994 bombing of the Jewish community center in Buenos Aires. The prosecutor, who will seek life sentences, made the announcement days before the fifth anniversary of the AMIA blast, which killed 86 people and wounded 300 others. Commemoration services to mark the anniversary are planned for next week in Buenos Aires and New York.
