An Australian court ordered an alleged Nazi war criminal to attend his extradition hearing next month, despite his ill health. Konrad Kalejs’ lawyer had told the court his client was suffering from health problems, including prostate cancer and dementia. Latvia has asked for the extradition of Kalejs, who allegedly was involved in the deaths of up to 30,000 Jews during World War II.
