An Australian Jewish woman is believed to have died in this week’s tsunami. Four other members of the Melbourne Jewish community are missing as a result of the tragedy in Southeast Asia, which has claimed as many as 100,000 victims, Michael Lipshutz, president of the Jewish Community Council of Victoria, told JTA. New Zealand has not reported any missing community members.
