An exhibition of the work of Professor Max Liebermann, the aged President of the Berlin Academy of Art, will be held in Vienna next February, under the auspices of the Austrian Government.
The Berlin National Gallery, the Hamburg Art Gallery, and many private collections have promised to lend important Liebermann paintings in their possession. The Kaiser Friedrich Museum in Magdeburg has promised to loan its “Judengasse in Amsterdam.”
