An explosive device discovered on a crowded beach in Netanya Saturday morning was dismantled by police sappers before it could detonate. A man noticed the device concealed in a cigarette case placed in the sand and notified the lifeguards. The lifeguards warned the thousands of bathers on the beach to clear the area as police were called in to dismantle the device.
