An Israeli Arab was released after 46 days in captivity in Gaza. Ha’aretz reported that Tira resident Riad al-Luah was kidnapped in October while returning home from visiting family in Beit Lahiya. Gunmen shot his wife in the leg and took Luah captive. On Tuesday, he was driven to the Erez crossing and handed over to Palestinian Authority police.
