An Israeli Cabinet minister visited a convicted Israeli spy in the Egyptian prison where he is serving a 15-year sentence. Danny Naveh, a minister without portfolio in Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s government, met Azzam Azzam for the second time in five months. Israel denies he was a spy, but Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has rejected Israeli appeals for his release.
