An Israeli commission of inquiry into the Lebanon war is expected to begin publishing testimony it heard next week. Finding in favor of a petition by a left-wing lawmaker, the High Court of Justice on Thursday ordered the Winograd Commission to publish testimony by Israeli officials after it’s cleared by military censors. The first publication, expected Sunday, will largely be testimony by military chiefs. The High Court gave an extension until Pesach for publication of testimony by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Defense Minister Amir Peretz.
