An Israeli company says it has found a genetic link responsible for as many as one-fifth of all schizophrenia cases. The finding by the Jerusalem-based company IDgene Pharmaceuticals, in collaboration with Hebrew University and Israel’s psychiatric hospitals, will appear in the December issue of The American Journal of Human Genetics.
