An Israeli delegation was scheduled to fly to Washington on Wednesday to seek a compromise in a dispute over Israel’s planned sale of an advanced airborne radar system to China, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz. Israel reportedly wants to reach agreement on the sale of the system before Prime Minister Ehud Barak’s visit to the United States next week.
