An Israeli hospital is researching the use of pills to deliver insulin, an advance that could soon improve the lives of millions of diabetics worldwide. Officials at Hadassah Medical Center at Ein Kerem in Jerusalem said insulin showed up in the liver and bloodstream of 12 nondiabetic volunteers within 30 minutes of ingesting the new pill.
