An Israeli lawyer asked the Palestinian Authority for permission to defend a Palestinian accused of cooperating with Israel. The letter from Tel Aviv attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner says Palestinian lawyers in the Gaza Strip are too frightened to represent Akram Muhammad Zatma, who is accused of helping Israeli soldiers in the “targeted killings” of Hamas and Fatah leaders.
