An Israeli Mossad agent caught during a bungled spy operation in Switzerland returned to the Jewish state after being released on bail by Swiss authorities, according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office. Israeli authorities guaranteed that the agent would return to Switzerland to stand trial in connection with the February attempt to bug the apartment of a suspected Islamic militant living near the Swiss capital of Bern.
