An Israeli security man guarding a Jewish house in eastern Jerusalem was stabbed by a Palestinian during an argument over an archaeological dig that has been going on for several years. The guard was slightly wounded during the fight, which took place in the city’s Silwan neighborhood. Earlier this week, clashes erupted in Silwan after a Jewish group known as Elad took over buildings in the predominantly Arab neighborhood.
