An Israeli sniper killed a Hamas man wanted for shelling Gaza settlements. The Hamas commander was shot dead Sunday as he left his home in Khan Younis in the central Gaza Strip. Witnesses said he was struck by a single bullet fired from the nearby Israeli settlement of Neve Dekalim. The army said the man was responsible for deadly mortar attacks on Israeli targets.
