An Israeli soldier shot and killed a Palestinian who allegedly tried to stab him. The incident took place near Rachel’s Tomb, an Israeli enclave near the West Bank town of Bethlehem. After the shooting, more than 100 Palestinians marched to the site and threw stones at Israeli troops, who responded with tear gas and rubber bullets.
