An Israeli source confirmed here that Prof. Yehuda Blum, an expert on international law, will replace Ambassador Chaim Herzog, as Israel’s chief representative at the United Nations. Herzog is scheduled to leave his post this summer after serving as Ambassador for the last three years. The 46-year-old Blum was born in Czechoslovakia and emigrated to Israel in 1945. He has published a number of studies on international law and is the author of a book, “Secure Boundaries and Mideast Peace.”
