An Ontario court sentenced a 29-year-old musician who founded a hate-rock band to one year of community service. The sentence was given to George Burdi of RaHoWa, an acronym for racial holy war, after he was found guilty last week on charges of promoting hatred. The sentence also prohibits him from associating with racist causes or inciting hatred toward any racial, ethnic or religious group.
