An Orthodox rabbi was named to the National Council for Private School Accreditation. Rabbi Nachem Kaplan, the director of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement’s Office of Education, was elected as the council’s vice president and vice chair on June 19. The council gives accreditation to some 30,000 private schools.
