An undercurrent of dissatisfaction with the Rafferty Bill intended to curb vicious and subversive propaganda is making itself felt in certain sections of the state, with the result that the question of constitutionality in the event of enactment is being flung at its proponents.
In Jewish circles there is very little concern, however, because there is good ground for belief that the State Senate will pass it at Monday night’s session and since Governor Moore has on numerous occasions indicated that he will not stand for movements in the state which foster bigotry, it is regarded as fairly certain that he will sign the measure. The Assembly by a majority vote this week voted favorably.
