The Reich and Prussian Minister of the Interior has issued a circular providing for the introduction of an ancestry passport, intended to provide proof that the holder is of “Aryan” origin.
The ancestry passport does not do away with the need of the various necessary documents, it is explained, but serves only as evidence of “Aryan” origin, where such is required.
The Protestant Consistorium for Saxony complains in a circular of certain unpleasant cases, of what it describes as “family espionage,” and it points out that church parishes are obliged to give information with regard to the Aryan origin of members, only if they are satisfied that there is a justified ground for such inquiry.
